GLASSCAPES

What is a GLASSCAPE?

“I am drawn to the new colors formed when I overlay tiny samples of color from my photos of colored glass. To make a GLASSCAPE, I manipulate the shapes digitally, creating new shapes and compositions. The pixels react the same as blowing glass when you stretch them out, giving these works their crystalline appearance.”
-Jenny Hudson

The GLASSCAPES are output as gliclee prints are output on heavy, archival paper, sized 16 x 20 and up.  Some are face-mounted for a truly glass-like appearance and they can be printed out at any size as well as on alternative materials such as aluminum.
